The aim of this letter is to inform you about the current state of the cryptoasset market, but also about recent news in the field. This letter is not an investment advice, but only a sharing of my personal point of view.

Facebook sets out to build a metaverse ! A metaverse is a digital world in which people can interact in the form of an avatar. It's a bit like the Holy Grail of social networking, and Steven Spielberg's film "Player Ready One" represents the idea of a metaverse in which everyone lives in this parallel digital universe. It would be possible to discover this universe in 3D using virtual headsets and other sophisticated devices. At the same time, Facebook will create 10,000 jobs in Europe to build its metaverse. But in the world of crypto, let's not forget that there are already decentralized metaverses that belong to their users !

El Salvador plans to build 20 schools thanks to Bitcoin profits (BTC)! Nayib Bukele highlights the benefits of adopting Bitcoin: "We are now seeing the benefits of the schools we announced, and God willing, more construction will come from the proceeds of a trust that was created and a law that was created because we ignored the opposition."continued the President of El Salvador, anxious to silence Bitcoin's detractors. The company Binance invests 100 million euros in France for the development of the crypto-asset ecosystem! This is both good news for the crypto world in France, but may unfortunately threaten local players already in place in France. Alexandre Stachtchenko has written an article on the November 3 meeting between the French Minister and Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) and other French players at Bercy during a public meeting. Unfortunately, he condemns the difficulties encountered by French entrepreneurs within this rigid framework, despite the warm welcome extended to Binance.

The mayor of Miami will receive his next salary in Bitcoin ! The politician will receive his pay via Strike, the wallet (digital wallet) based on the Lightning Network (secondary layer of the Bitcoin network that enables micro-payments with very low fees). Could Miami be a future crypto-asset capital? The executive has no shortage of ideas to push the adoption of digital currencies in Miami.

The Bitcoin network made an important update on November 14 block number 709 632. The update is called Taproot, and is designed to improve network privacy and security. This upgrade is the most significant for the protocol since 2017. It's important to understand that the Bitcoin network evolves and adapts over time. Teams of developers work day and night, on a voluntary basis, to propose improvements. Then, if the majority of the community accepts these improvements, a general upgrade can take place. But the network is so large that upgrades are rare, and can only be beneficial to it, as those who "vote" are exposed to the success of the decentralized project that is Bitcoin.

Technical & Fundamental Analysis

Bitcoin price over the past 1 year.

The Bitcoin price at the time of writing is 59,250 $ (11/18/21). Since the end of October, we've been in a wide channel between 58,000 $ and 69,000 $.

The correction we are currently experiencing is a healthy one, and we need the 58,000 $ resistance to hold so as not to delay too long the expected second upward leg.

• Long-term cycle : Coin accumulation by long-term holders is at record levels, setting up a bullish structure for the months ahead. Meanwhile, the habits of experienced investors tell us that the bull market is preparing its second bullish leg (the first being the 20,000 $ to the 64,000 $ in April 2020).

• Medium-term cycle : A continuation of the accumulation phase in the form of a channel is expected for a few weeks before a bullish rally.

• Short-term cycle : Analysis on-chain point to a quiet period, with long-term investors holding steady while short-term speculators move the price into the 58 k / 69 k $ channel.

We note that Ethereum's (ETH) fundamentals are getting stronger by the day, while the price has yet to fully reflect this strength. We believe that ETH could outperform BTC over the coming weeks.

Overall, little has changed since the previous letter, the long-term picture is in good configuration, we just need time to prepare the next take-off ramp for new records in late 2021 or early 2022.
